EEPro V5.0 is a versatile design tool that contains a multitude of resources for the electrical design engineer.  This program contains all of the features of MotorData and XfmrData plus some of the following features shown in the following sample screens and descriptions.

 

Wire Ampacity Table

This table is based on Table 310-16 in the National Electrical Code which gives the maximum allowable ampacity for different sized wires for various temperature ratings up to 3 conductors in a raceway.

Working Space Clearance Table

This table is based on Table 110-26(a) in the National Electrical Code which gives the minimum allowable space clearance in front of electrical equipment, dependant on various conditions and voltages.

 

     
 

Equipment Grounding Conductor

This table is based on Table 250-122 in the National Electrical Code which gives the minimum sized copper equipment grounding conductor based on breaker size.

Grounding Electrode Conductor

This table is based on Table 250-66 in the National Electrical Code which gives the minimum sized copper  grounding electrode conductor based on service size.

 

 

     
 

Fire Alarm Wall Strobe Intensity

This table is based on the National Fire Alarm Code which gives the minimum strobe intensity in candela based on the size of the room and the number of strobes placed in a room.

 

 

     
 

Fire Alarm Ceiling Strobe Intensity

This table is based on the National Fire Alarm Code which gives the minimum strobe intensity in candela based on the size of the room and the mounting height of strobes placed in a room.

 

 

     
 

Feeder Calculation Tool

This is a design tool used to size feeders.  Based on the full load amps, voltage, feeder size and the available fault current, this tool calculates the voltage drop, and the available vault current at the load for either single phase or three phase feeders.

 

     
 

Service Calculation Tool

This is a design tool used to size services.  Based on the transformer size in KVA, the transformer impedence in %Z, the voltage, and the service size this tool calculates the voltage drop, and the available vault current at the transformer and the load for either single phase or three phase services.
